Truls

From the last mentioned half from the ’90s through the first 2010s, Truls Heggero was the frontperson of Lukestar, a post-hardcore band that rose to prominence within their native Norway and, on the peak of their reputation, won a 2008 Spellemannprisen, thought to be Norway’s equal to a Grammy. Throughout that period, Heggero also led the one-album action Truls as well as the Trees and shrubs. Upon the divide of Lukestar, Heggero proceeded to go solo as merely Truls, agreed upon to Parlophone, and transferred toward a far more production-oriented audio that fused contemporary R&B and pop. “Out of Yourself,” the otherworldly business lead one from his Norwegian TOP debut solo record TRVLS, was nominated for the 2013 Spellemannprisen in the group of “This Year’s Strike” but shed, perhaps undoubtedly, to Ylvis’ “The Fox.” In 2015, the bursting “Circles” preceded Heggero’s second record, prepared for discharge on Warner Music Norway.
