Singer/songwriter/movie director Troy Taroy does not have a partner because he’s “D.We.Y. completely.” The ironic, literate, and nerd-fun Taroy offered time in a few of Los Angeles’ top never-heard-of-thems (the DINING AREA Established, Chika Chika, Cody ChesnuTT, as well as the L.A. Moments) before stunning from his very own in 2003. It had been that season he filmed and released his “neo-realist musical” Vortex Follies and curved up Ryan Timber (electric guitar, vocals), Yard Boigah (bass, vocals), and Paul Carlson (drums) for his very own music group. The indie rocking and mocking Worker from the Month kicked off Taroy’s single work in 2004.
