You may remember Troy Johnson’s sweet tone of voice from his hit “It’s You,” a “new jack port ballad” which was a slow dance staple in 1986. Leap forward to 2005 and Johnson was once more climbing the graph with “It’s You,” but this time around with an increased contacting. A Motown fan who was motivated by famous brands Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, Troy Johnson initial found the public’s interest in 1984 using a cut over the Blame It on Rio soundtrack.
