Acquiring their name in the Spanish words signifying “with life and spirit,” Trio Con Brio a lot more than surpass the appellation. Made up of three extremely talented music artists – Elisabeth Deinhard on flute, Andrea Forderreuther on electric guitar and Caroline Kriegbaum on viola – Trio Con Brio resurrects the glory of eighteenth and nineteenth hundred years Spanish composers while increasing the custom with new parts by Sergio Assad, Leo Brouwer and Egberto Gismonti. Produced in 1990, the Esslingen, Germany-based trio toured Arabic countries in 1997.
