Modern R&B/soul singer Trina Broussard was created and raised in Houston, TX, influenced by her mom, who was simply a jazz singer, and her father, who played guitar in jazz big rings and supported pop vocalists Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, and Donny Hathaway. She started her music profession upon shifting to Atlanta, GA, in 1990, performing history vocals for Bobby Dark brown, Pebbles, Babyface, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, and BeBe & CeCe Winans. Via an association with Trey Lorenz, she started writing tunes, and signed using the Therefore Therefore Def label. Her 1st popular solitary was the Minnie Riperton music “Inside My Like,” featured within the 1997 platinum-selling film soundtrack Like Jones. In 1998, Broussard co-wrote Aretha Franklin’s strike record “Right here We Go Once again,” and released another solitary of her personal, “Like You A LOT,” the next year. Regrettably, the intended recording was by no means released. Broussard authorized using the Motown label in 2002, documenting her recording Same Woman with Ra-Re Valverde. Her 2008 Compact disc is Life of the Libra.
