Vocalist/songwriter Trevor Wayne Tillery crafts guitar-based soundscapes infused with sweeping atmospherics. Weaving his mild tone of voice over plaintive sonics that veer from your cinematic towards the dreamy, Tillery’s design is similar to Sufjan Stevens or Daniel Johns draped atop Air flow or M83. Given birth to in Indianapolis, Indiana and elevated in Phoenix, Az, Tillery spent his formative years centered on music. He discovered acoustic guitar at 13 and performed in rings throughout senior high school, which helped hone his songwriting abilities at a age group. From 2007 to 2012, he was the vocalist for any Phoenix-based indie rock-band that released three albums before disbanding. After determining to go after his own eyesight, he required to the street, hanging out in Seattle and Nashville. His 1st single task was SPELLS, which he quickly reserve for Brotherun, a Radiohead-esque digital rock duo created with his sibling, Nicholas Trey Tillery (aka Long term Spirit). The duo released a self-titled EP and an individual before placing Brotherun on keep to go after their own specific projects. While in Nashville, Tillery also arrived as homosexual, which he stated helped to free of charge himself and his innovative tone of voice, informing the path of his audio as a single musician. In 2014, he shifted to LA and began documenting his debut. Being a teaser from the project’s musical path, Tillery released a stripped-back cover of Blur’s “Tune 2” in March 2016, which damaged the very best of Spotify’s viral graph. Seven days later, he revealed his debut. In Moonlight was made by Joshua D. Niles and focused on designs of lifestyle and death, particularly the hopeful “dark prior to the dawn” period. An up to date version from the Brotherun monitor “The Dissonance Between Us” was included on the six-song EP.
