Trenton Cooper

b. 1923, Wish, Arkansas, USA. This talented blues pianist performed in his university orchestra before becoming a member of an R&B music group led by Jay Franks. The music group also presented Nelson Carson on acoustic guitar, and Cooper co-wrote Franks’ ‘Seafood Tail’. After 1950 Cooper performed within the Drops Of Pleasure, the favorite R&B combo led by Jimmy Liggins. When he was tracked by blues historian Jim O’Neal in 1976, he was the movie director from the Co-operative Education workplace at the University or college of Arkansas in Pine Bluff.
