Biography

Nation singer/songwriter Trent Willmon was created March 6, 1973, in Amarillo, TX, the child of Dean Willmon, a schoolteacher and cattle rancher, and Billie Willmon. He grew up on the ranch close to the small West Texas city of Afton. His mom offered him a acoustic guitar when he was 16, and he discovered to try out, but he was also thinking about alternative activities, and he received blue ribbons from your 4-H Club as well as the FFA (Long term Farmers of America) for livestock judging, cooking food abilities, and speech-making, which gained him a scholarship or grant to South Plains University in Levelland, TX, where he in the beginning majored in pet science toward generating a qualification in agriculture. By his second 12 months, however, he previously switched towards the music division, and he decreased out to play bass inside a bluegrass music group. In 1995, he relocated to Nashville, where he discovered work looking after horses while looking to get his tunes heard. He authorized a song-publishing agreement in 1998, after that organized a music group and started playing in honky tonks. Finally, he was authorized to a agreement by Columbia Information, leading to the discharge of his 1st single, “Ale Guy,” in 2004, accompanied by “Dixie Rose Deluxe’s Honky Tonk, Give food to Store, Gun Store, Used Car, Ale, Bait, BBQ, Barber Store, Laundromat.” His self-titled debut recording appeared in Oct 2004.
