Biography
The son of bluesman L.V. Banking institutions, the vocalist/guitarist known merely as Tre continued the customs of his father’s music, recapturing the audio and feeling of ’50s-period Chicago blues with precision and real love. Created in Grenada, Mississippi, he grew up on Chicago’s South Part, initially playing rock and roll and R&B; his musical allegiance shifted to the blues while support Banking institutions between 1981 and 1987, where period he honed a liquid, shimmering guitar design. Tre’s single debut, Delivered for Glory — Reclaiming the Blues, made an appearance in 1996; the follow-up, Blues Knock’n Baby — documented with backing music group the Blueknights — premiered a year later on.
