Aimed by accordion player Enzo Conti, Tre Martelli (translated: 3 Hammerings) continue steadily to explore the turn-of-the-century music and dance traditions of their homeland. A mixture of folk and traditional music, the band’s audio has been known as by FolkRoots “a classic joy to hear.” While their tunes tell of background and love, their dance spans an array of designs, including branco, monferrina, curenta, and bura. Four users of Tre Martelli — Ciacio Marchelli, Lorenzo Boioli, Simone Boglioli, and Rinaldo Doro — also have recorded beneath the name Tsarriye.
