Biography
Travis Shook’s profession got off to an easy start though it has stalled somewhat since that time. He began on piano at seven, spent time playing rock guitar, and came back towards the piano. While at William Paterson University in NJ, he previously the opportunity to play with such music artists as Benny Golson and Branford Marsalis. Shook gained many contests (especially the 1991 Great American Jazz Piano Competition on the Jacksonville Jazz Celebration) and, in 1993, he produced his documenting debut on his self-titled Columbia Compact disc within a quartet that included Tony Williams and Bunky Green.
