Just as advertised, Travers & Appice is a collaboration between two classic rock icons: guitarist and vocalist Pat Travers, of several ’70s solo guitar hero records fame, and drummer Carmine Appice, ex-member of Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne — heck, you name it! Combined together from the Steamhammer/SPV label, the duo lower 2004’s brashly hard-rocking IT REQUIRES a whole lot of Balls by using journeyman bassist T.M. Stevens, that has previously caused James Dark brown, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, and so many more.
