Trana

Although guitarist Yakup Trana and singer Stephen Schmidt have been writing collectively for quite a while, it wasn’t until January of 2003 that they installed using the rhythm portion of bassist Tom Barrett and drummer Tate Erickson. Acquiring their name using their Turkish-born guitarist and de facto innovator, Trana gelled collectively quickly, and by Apr the Seattle-based group’s debut, Strange World, was prepared for launch by indie label Lake Samm.
