Tracie

b. 25 March 1965, Basildon, Essex, Britain. Tracie Adolescent left school to become trainee kids’s nurse, switchboard operator, insurance clerk, and lastly vocalist. She originally sang having a Depeche Setting -like outfit known as Town 19 but had not been thinking about their design, although she do perform some songwriting with music group member Dean. After viewing an advertising campaign in Smash Strikes positioned by Paul Weller (Jam / Design Council) and Respond Information for a woman singer, she was presented with the starting she needed. Even though advertisement stated 18-years or higher, and she was still just 17, she delivered a demo tape of herself performing ‘Shoorah Shoorah’ and wished for the best. In exchange she received a tough demo from the music ‘The Home That Jack Constructed’ and an invitation to sing support vocals within the Jam’s swansong – ‘Defeat Surrender’. In November 1982 she began recording single and her initial one was a edition of the completed ‘The Home That Jack Constructed’. She also do support vocals (live and studio room) using the Style Council, and toured within the springtime of 1983 within a Respond bundle. By enough time of her 5th single she had been acknowledged with her name, Tracie Teen. In 1986 she still left Respond for Polydor Information, but the strikes had dry out.
