Toy Caldwell

Biography

Plaything Caldwell was most widely known as the business lead guitarist and primary songwriter within the Marshall Tucker Music group. A unique character and a formidable musician, he was a peer of both Dickey Betts and Charlie Daniels, and his greatest work crossed easily between nation, blues, and rock and roll & roll. A couple of years after the separation from the Marshall Tucker Music group in the past due ’80s, he re-emerged as innovator from the Plaything Caldwell Music group, which performed small-scale displays of the type the Marshall Tucker Music group couldn’t perform. He also documented one solo recording before his loss of life in early 1993. Although the majority of his popularity undoubtedly rests with the Marshall Tucker Music group, Caldwell left out a little but glorious body of single material.
