Toti Dal Monte

Nicknamed “La Toti” by her many admirers, Toti Dal Monte possessed a light coloratura tone of voice whose delicate tone was often set alongside the strains of the nightingale. She was hence cast in assignments of vulnerable, frequently unpredictable heroines (i.e., Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor and Amina in La sonnambula).
