Tote King’s 1st actions in professional music started in 1999 when he could possibly be heard within the group La Alta Escuela around the album En Pie de Vuelo, which also presented collaborators MC Zatu (from SFDK), Mala Rodríguez, and La Gota Que Colma. Tote King’s single career began using the Big Ruler XXL demo as well as the maxi Duermen. In 2002 he became a member of with his sibling to create the duo Tote Ruler & Shotta, who released the maxi Nada Em fun??o de Mí (getting Tote Ruler a 2002 Hip-Hop Country award for Greatest Rookie MC) as well as the Tu Madre Ha sido una Foca long-player, both on the Superego label. The next year Tote Ruler released another solo maxi, entitled Matemáticas, that was the prelude to his initial solo LP, Música Em fun??o de Enfermos. 3 years afterwards, the rapper finished his second LP, El Tipo Cualquiera, released in the Boa Music label and nearly entirely made by Big Hozone, using the cooperation of Vast Aire from Cannibal Ox. In 2008, once again for Boa Music, Tote Ruler released his third LP, T.O.T.E., delivering a remarkable transformation of style.
