When scanning collector publications, you’ll often run into entries for albums simply by obscure psychedelic rings such as Best Drawer, commanding ridiculously high prices simply because they’re extremely rare. And generally, because they’re extremely uncommon doesn’t mean you must spend those prices, as well as feel just like you’re lacking much. Best Drawer, a Kentucky music group whose common bluesy acoustic guitar riffing, naively overambitious lyrics, and reliance upon hard rock and roll cliches screamed 1969-1970, produced one particular rare-but-not-good information. Which didn’t end it from obtaining reissued within the 1980s.
