Top Down

A lo-fi garage area punk trio boasting associates from Germany, New Zealand, as well as the U.S., Best Down first emerged jointly in Portland, Oregon in 2015. German guitarist/vocalist Szim, American bassist/vocalist Chuck Struggler, and Kiwi drummer Fiona Campbell produced their initial recordings as well as renowned Portland punk Fred Cole of Useless Moon. The periods yielded an EP that premiered on 7″ by Voodoo Doughnut and on cassette by Struggler’s very own No Possibility label. With Cole once again behind the plank, Best Down documented their debut LP, Tough Streets, which Voodoo Doughnut released in March 2017.
