Top Cat includes a string of number 1 singles to his credit (both as performer and manufacturer) along with a United kingdom Reggae award for Ideal British isles DJ. He’s also observed for incorporating jungle and hip-hop into his make of reggae. He obtained knowledge by toasting with U.K. sound systems, which gave him his initial chart-topper, “Like Me Sess” (1988). His debut record, Sensimelia Man, made an appearance the following calendar year. From JA to UK Clash Vol. 3 premiered in 1993. Another number 1 single followed carefully after, known as “Demand the Style.” A reggae edition along with a jungle edition of “Force up Yu Lighter” became Best Cat’s third number 1 for the U.K. graphs. After developing the 9 Lives label, he strike the top from the graphs once again with “Over U Body/Rude Boy Remix” and “Blowing wind You up Body.” A compilation of his biggest singles, Ruler from the Jungle can be obtained through Ras Information.
