Biography
Toothpaste 2000 evolved from the Seattle duo the Cowboy as well as the Spingirl, an alias for bassist/guitarist/vocalist Frank Bednash and guitarist/vocalist Donna Esposito. Both got together within the middle-’80s and released the Hearing Candy recording, plus many singles, within the Parasol label. When drummer Duff Drew became a member of, the band’s name was transformed to Toothpaste 2000. The recording Death from the Italian Film Celebrity premiered in 1997, with Bachelorette pursuing two years later on.

Her son Ben doubles as a physical training-partner...sort of. Every morning, she first does push-ups with the baby lying under her...letting her long mane dangle over him. (And it worked, too.) |
