Tony Barber

An average middle-’60s English Invasion-styled performer who wrote the majority of his personal materials, Tony Barber released five singles and an LP in Australia in the middle-’60s. He discovered some achievement in his homeland, especially using the solitary “Someday,” though insufficient to sustain an extended career. Barber got previously been an associate from the Aztecs, the support music group of Australian vocalist Billy Thorpe, and preferred a somewhat spiky blues-rock-leaning English Invasion design, though his vocals had been milder compared to the material. Most of his 1960s single recordings for the Spin label had been issued for the 2000 Compact disc Someday…Now!
