Biography

The one-time leader from the merengue band Los Hermanos Rosario, Toño Rosario began an effective solo career in 1990. A indigenous from the Dominican Republic, he created the music group in 1978 along with his sibling, and regardless of the group’s achievement through the 1980s, Rosario relocated to Puerto Rico and started his solo profession with 1991’s Atado a Ti. Four of his single albums went platinum (two managed to get to platinum aswell), and he became among the island’s biggest performing stars. Exclusivo adopted in 1998, along with a year later on Rosario came back with Magia de un Cuco.
