Tommy & the Large Pilots formed in Santa Barbara, California in early 2008 when songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Tommy Cantillon’s previous music group, Holden, which have been collectively for five years, abruptly split up. Cantillon made a decision to begin anew and remaining California for NEW YORK, spending a yr writing tracks and rethinking what he wished to do like a musician. Ultimately, he was became a member of there by his sibling, guitarist and keyboardist Michael Cantillon, and two Western Coast close friends, bassist Steve Libby and drummer Matt Palermo, and Tommy & the Large Pilots were created. Recorded and created entirely with the band, EVERY EVENING appeared in ’09 2009, accompanied by American Riviera 2 yrs afterwards in 2011. An EP documented at Sawhorse Studios in St. Louis, Missouri entitled Sawhorse Periods also made an appearance in 2011 . Just Human found its way to the springtime of 2012. In Oct 2014, the music group announced that they might end up being changing their name to Beta Play.
