Tommy Ryan

This popular American band singer was known for his smooth tenor voice. Ryan caused Sammy Kaye’s extremely successful ‘golf swing and sway’ orchestra from 1938-43. He sang on a few of their biggest strikes, including three graph toppers: ‘Rosalie’, ‘Appreciate Strolled In’ and ‘Fantasy Valley’. He also liked achievement with ‘Occasionally I’m Content’, ‘All Ashore’, ‘Carolina Moon’, ‘They State’, ‘We’ve Arrive QUITE A DISTANCE Jointly’, ‘Last Evening’s Gardenias’, ‘Make Believe Isle’, ‘A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square’, ‘Harbour Of Dreams’, ‘Minka’, ‘On THE ROAD Of Regret’, ‘Johnny Doughboy Present A Rose In Ireland’ and ‘My Pal’. When he still left Kaye, Ryan became a member of Blue Barron’s nice orchestra, and overran the leadership for some time when Barron was in america MILITARY. He led his personal outfit through the past due 40s, and made an appearance in a track series on radio through the early 50s.
