Barcelona’s political garage area punk combo Tokyo Sex Damage draws motivation from bands just like the Make-Up, Country of Ulysses, International Sound Conspiracy, and, especially, MC5. The quartet — which includes drummer/vocalist/organ participant JC Sinclair, bassist/vocalist SF Sinclair, and guitarists/vocalists RR and RJ Sinclair — all used the surname of John Sinclair, the famous band’s supervisor and founder from the White colored Panther Party. The group gained a pursuing in European countries before acquiring their explosive music stateside making use of their full-length debut, Le Crimson Spirit Communitte, which Dim Mak released in springtime 2003.
