Tokyo Rose

An emo-influenced pop-punk music group from NJ, Tokyo Rose was shaped in 2001, while singer and guitarist Ryan Dominguez and bassist Chris Poulsen were both learners at Rutgers School. Though both had been playing with various other bands, both shared very similar musical passions and made a decision to start a music group of their very own. Tokyo Rose performed local shows once the associates’ active schedules permitted plus they booked travels to coincide with holidays and between-term breaks. Tokyo Rose also documented a self-released EP, Chasing Fireflies, which became the band’s contacting credit card after Dominguez and Poulsen graduated and produced the music group a full-time concern. Following a amount of workers changes, the music group had a good lineup by adding Greg Doran on electric guitar and Jon Smith on drums, and in 2003, throughout a tour of California, the music group signed a cope with the unbiased label Sidecho Information, who released the group’s initial full-length record, Reinventing a Shed Artwork, in July 2003.
