Biography

Delivered in Chicago, IL, rock and roll drummer Todd Sucherman was the kid of Dr. Arnold J. Sucherman, who, furthermore to his medical practice, also offered as the home drummer on the Chez Parre’ membership, where he caused Lena Horne, Sammy Davis, Jr., Sophie Tucker, Joe E. Lewis, Jack port Benny, among others. Todd Sucherman’s mom was celebrity Jo Seiwert. His old brothers Paul Sucherman (keyboards) and Joel Sucherman (bass) also became music artists. Todd Sucherman was trained to try out drums also to browse music by his dad young, and in a short time the Sucherman Brothers had been playing skillfully. Sucherman went to the Berklee University of Music for just one year, then examined privately with Gary Chaffee. In 1988, he transferred back again to Chicago and became a program drummer. In 1996, he was asked to become listed on a reunion of veteran Chicago rock and roll group Styx when founding member John Panozzo demonstrated too ill to execute together. Sucherman toured with Styx and initial appeared on the live record/video Go back to Heaven (1997), then in the studio room album Brave ” NEW WORLD ” (1999). Two live albums, Arch Allies: Live at Riverport (with REO Speedwagon) and Styx Globe: Live 2001, implemented. Cyclorama, another studio room album, made an appearance in 2003. Whilst in Styx, Sucherman provides found time and energy to perform sessions with various other music artists, and his drumming could be noticed on albums with the Angelic Voices of Trust, Handbag It, Bee, Michael Bolton, Jim Brickman, Peter Cetera, the Christianaires, Steve Cole, Brian Culbertson, Tim Cunningham, Expenses Dickens, the Falling Wallendas, Dottie Jones, Fareed Haque, Wade Hubbard, In to the Green, Henry Kapono, R. Kelly, Steve Kolander, Danny Kravitz, Donald Malloy, Bob Mamet, Nicholas Markos, Douglas Miller, Taylor Mills, Not really the Joneses, Lee Nysted, Billy Sea, Jim Peterik, Greg Ridley, Kane Roberts, Rochelle, Morty Shallman, Tommy Shaw, Survivor, Joe Lynn Turner, John Wetton, and Brian Wilson. He offers performed live with Cole, Culbertson, Dickens, the Falling Wallendas, Haque, Mamet, Wilson, Josie Aiello, Rick Braun, Lionel Cole, Bobby Enriquez, David Hasselhoff, Darryl Jones, Eric Marienthal, Michael McDermott, Vertebral Touch, Sandy Torano, Dave Uhrich, and Peter White colored. In August 2008, Sucherman released an instructional video, Strategies & Technicians — For Useful Music Drumming.
