Created in 2012 like a documenting task for ex-Dokken members George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Dark brown, Los Angeles-based hard rock and roll outfit T&N, called honoring Dokken’s 1984 debut, Teeth & Nail, discovers even ground between your arena rock and roll/pop-metal pageantry of days gone by as well as the dark, progressive hard rock and roll soundscapes from the 21st century. Bolstered from the hard-hitting drumwork of Brian Tichy, the band’s debut recording, 2012’s Slave towards the Empire, presented seven original songs, five re-recorded Dokken slashes, and visitor vocal looks from Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Tim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest), Doug Pinnick (King’s X), and Robert Mason (Warrant).
