Titus Andronicus

A punk-inflected indie rock and roll group whose bawling, thrashing audio reflected an array of influences which range from the Pixies to Bright Eye to Bruce Springsteen, Glen Rock and roll, New Jersey’s Titus Andronicus formed in 2005 with bandleader and songwriter Patrick Stickles supported by Liam Betson, Ian Graetzer, Eric Damage, and Dan Tews. The band’s debut full-length, The Airing of Grievances (making mention of a Seinfeld show), was initially released by Troubleman Unlimited in 2008, after that found for wider distribution by XL Recordings in January 2009.
