Tito Nieves

Blessed in Puerto Rico but raised within the U.S., Tito Nieves (blessed Humberto Nieves) started his profession while taking part in Cimarron, a fresh York-based orchestra. Then teamed up with Héctor Lavoe in 1977 and became a member of Conjunto Clásico immediately after. Tito Nieves made a decision to begin his solo profession in 1986, placing himself aside by performing salsa in British. He became a chart-topper in 1997 using a melody called “I LOVE It LIKE THIS.” Among his essential albums are 1988’s Traditional, 1989’s Yo Quiero Cantar, 2004’s Fabricando Fantasias, and 2006’s Hoy, Manana y Siempre.
