Tiny Animals

Tiny Animals shaped in 2007, twelve months after the break up of frontman Chris Howerton’s prior band, Fighterpilot. Joined up with by youthful sister Rita Maye Howerton and bassist Philip Galitzine, Howerton squandered little time composing alt rock and roll music for his brand-new group, and Tiny Pets entered the documenting studio with manufacturer Darryl Neudorf prior to the calendar year was up. Although they surfaced from the studio room with a complete album, they ultimately scrapped those music and recorded another album independently, with previous Fighterpilot bassist Anton Kreisl changing Galitzine (who acquired left to become listed on the Brooklyn-based Atomic Tom). The effect was Special Sweetness, a variety of alt rock and roll and pop materials that premiered in ’09 2009 by North Road Records.
