Tina Dico

With heavenly vocals and a poignant writing style, singer/songwriter Tina Dico has topped the charts repeatedly in her native Denmark, caught the ear of Zero 7, and earned a Danish Grammy for Best Songwriter. As she was developing up, her dad was a hi-fi aficionado and bought music predicated on the documenting quality, not really the genre or creative merit. This released youthful Tina to a number of styles, even though she gravitated toward Leonard Cohen, Donovan, and Joni Mitchell, she was amply trained in opera and traditional Danish music by enough time she got finished the substantial collection. A vintage reel-to-reel tape machine and a mike created by her dad captured her teenage composing tries, but Dico didn’t consider some of this significantly until she became a member of a music group. She was 15 when it just happened, which revived fascination with music eventually got her participating in the Danish Royal University of Music, where extracurricular actions included signing up for another music group and playing her tracks in skill contests, among that was broadcast on Danish tv. The tv screen appearance result in phone calls from record brands, but the reddish tape that was included with their gives forced Dico into liberating her first recording on her personal. The 2003 EP Records offered quickly through person to person and gained Dico the songwriting Grammy despite small radio play. Shifting to Britain, she installed with downbeat take action No 7 and made an appearance on the 2004 recording, When It Falls, combined with the associated tour. That same 12 months she released the EP Much, which fleshed out the mainly acoustic tracks of Records with a complete music group. In early 2006 she released her first full-length record, In debt. She implemented it with 2007’s Count number To Ten and 2008’s ^Triology, made up of three recently recorded EPS, A NEWBIE, A Detour and An Open up Ending.
