Tim Christensen

Tim Christensen is a Danish vocalist/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who experienced remarkable achievement through the 1990s in the choice rock-band Dizzy Mizz Lizzy prior to making his single recording debut in 2000. Given birth to July 2, 1974, in Copenhagen, Denmark, he began playing acoustic guitar at age group seven. In 1988 he co-founded the music group Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, a trio made up of Martin Nielsen (bass acoustic guitar), Søren Friis (drums), and himself (vocals, acoustic guitar). After earning the Danish Rock and roll Tournament in 1993, the bandmembers utilized the prize cash to record a four-track demonstration Compact disc that garnered airplay on Danish rock and roll radio and guaranteed the music group a major-label documenting agreement with EMI. Made by Nick Foss, the eponymous recording Dizzy Mizz Lizzy designated the band’s full-length debut. The recording was an extraordinary achievement, spawning an extended string of strike singles (“Barbedwired Baby’s Desire,” “Like Is definitely a Loser’s Video game,” “Waterline,” “Silverflame,” “Glory”), earning four Danish Grammys (including Greatest Danish Group), and heading five-times platinum. As the follow-up recording, Rotator (1996), didn’t rival the achievement of its forerunner, it was pretty successful non-etheless, spawning several singles (“Rotator,” “11:07 PM,” “When the River Works Dry”), earning the band extra Grammys, and heading two-times platinum. Dizzy Mizz Lizzy disbanded in 1998 and Christensen subsequently embarked on the single career. In colaboration with EMI, he produced his full-length record debut in 2000 with Secrets on Parade, a high Ten hit in the Danish albums graph. His second record, Honeyburst (2003), was a much greater achievement, reaching number 1 in Denmark and the very best Ten in Norway. His third record and first discharge in colaboration with Sony Music, Excellent (2008), was likewise popular, reaching number 2 in Denmark and spawning the very best Five strike “Excellent” and the very best 20 strike “Wonder of Wonder.”
