Tim Barnes

The drummer Tim Barnes was essential in 3 ways: as an expansive experimental percussionist (and producer/engineer privately) who had one foot in the downtown NY avant-jazz community while adding to even more traditional indie rock projects; as who owns the Quakebasket label, vendors of limited-edition and broader produces of function by modern experimenters aswell as cautious reissues; and, finally, via his time work, where he helped bridge the worlds of indie rock and roll and music licensing to promote.
