Tiger Trap

Though sadly short-lived, Tiger Trap emerged among the most beloved indie-pop bands from the 1990s. The group was produced in Sacramento, CA in 1992 by performers/guitarists Rose Melberg and Angela Loy, schoolmates who shortly recruited bassist Jen Braun and drummer Heather Dunn to comprehensive the lineup; within weeks of their development, Tiger Snare — so called in mention of a Calvin and Hobbes comic remove — released their debut one “Words and phrases and Smiles,” a divide discharge with Bratmobile which made an appearance over the Four Notice Words and phrases label. Jumping to K, the music group released the “Supercrush” one, implemented in 1993 by their self-titled debut LP; the record was a significant underground favorite, using its spiky melodies, lovely harmonies and sweet-and-sour lyrics dazzling a chord through the entire indie community. Unfortunately, after just one single even more EP, Sour Lawn, Tiger Snare disbanded in the wake of the Dec 1993 concert in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, although a small number of compilation monitors made an appearance posthumously; in the years to check out, Melberg remained one of the most prolific person in the outfit, documenting as one fifty percent from the Softies aswell as with Move Sailor! and Gaze.
