Tortured adolescent Jeff Tword of Reed Town, MI, founded lo-fi dark metal group Thyrfing following reading Norse mythology in senior high school and hearing of another group called Thyrfing away of north Europe. Being truly a big enthusiast of dwarves and cursed swords, he believed it a fantastic fit and began his own section of Ragnarok (devastation of the globe) understanding in western world Michigan. Their initial one, the oddly called however hard-hitting “Vitus Gerulaitis,” premiered in Dec 2002 after many tortuous a few months of head-banging and documenting.
