Conjuring up clouds of appear that blend components of prog rock and roll, psychedelia, and indie rock and roll, Birmingham, AL’s Through the Sparks started life in 2003 like a part task for guitarist Nikolaus Mimikakis, his percussionist brother Thomas Mimikakis, and bassist Greg Slamen, who at that time were dealing with John Paul Keith in his strap Stateside.
