Three Man Military was a forgettable Uk hard rock-band of the first ’70s, playing period guitar-slanted music that sounded like warm-up fodder for bigger stadium acts. The constants in the lineup had been Adrian Gurvitz and Paul Gurvitz, both of whom have been in Weapon. After Weapon expired, Adrian visited America to try out with Buddy Kilometers, while Paul created Parrish & Gurvitz. The set reunited, nevertheless, to record the debut Three Man Military album, ANOTHER of an eternity, using a number of different drummers (including Kilometers, Carmine Appice from Vanilla Fudge, and Mike Kellie from Spooky Tooth). Tony Newman, previously of Sounds Integrated as well as the Pole Stewart Group, became a member of for another (and last) two Three Guy Military albums. While there have been rehearsals for any fourth LP, it had been never began, as Newman remaining to become listed on David Bowie’s music group as well as the Gurvitz brothers teamed up with Ginger Baker to record three albums as the Baker Gurvitz Military.
