Thrasher

In June and July 1984 the united states rock label Fight funded a brilliant session and enlisted Carl Canedy (drums) to create and produce an album’s well worth of materials. Canedy created a writing collaboration with guitarist Andy MacDonald plus they place the ‘Thrasher’ music group together in the Music America Studios in NY. An extraordinary line-up was amassed: Kenny Aaronson (Derringer/ HSAS; bass), Dickie Peterson (Blue Cheer; vocals), Billy Sheehan (Talas; bass), Mars Cowling (Pat Travers Band; bass), Maryann Scandiffio (Dark Lace; vocals), Dan Spitz (Anthrax; acoustic guitar), Jack port Starr (Virgin Metal; acoustic guitar), Rhett Forrester (Riot; vocals), Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brownish; acoustic guitar), Gary Bordonaro (Rods; bass) and extra vocalists Wayne Rivera, Leslie Dunn and Jackie Kenyon.
