Thirsty Fish

Alums from the open up mic and freestyle-rap circuits in L.A.’s hip-hop underground, Psychosiz, Dumbfoundead (Jonathan Stewart), and Open up Mike Eagle comprise the quirky, freewheeling trio Thirsty Seafood. Open up Mike, a Chicago indigenous, Dumbfoundead, Buenos Aires-born however Koreatown, L.A.-elevated, and Psychosiz most first met one another in the Project Blowed headquarters in L.A. With features from left-coast underground veterans Aceyalone and Abstract Rude, Thirsty Seafood unleashed their debut recording, Tests the Waters, in Feb 2008 within the Task Blowed indie label.
