They Shoot Horses Don’t They

Using a lineup that changes from six to nine pieces, Vancouver’s They Shoot Horses Don’t They combine components of punk, circus music, experimental rock and roll, and jazz within their free-form, sometimes riotous instrumental expression. Produced by vocalist/guitarist Nut Dark brown and bassist Julia in 2003, TSHDT quickly added saxophonist Ryan and trombonist Pietro to the combine, in addition to bassist Robb and keyboardist Chris (various other members have got included bari saxophonist Shane Krause, trumpeter Eli Bornowsky, and tuba participant Nathan Gage), and self-released their self-titled four-song record in 2005. American avant rock and roll label Kill Rock and roll Stars found on the music group and agreed upon it, issuing Boo Hoo Boo Hoo in 2006, with GRAB Sticks pursuing in 2007.
