Comprising energetic frontwoman/guitarist Anna Barie (Knife Skills, Fxxxing Lion), bassist Pat Noecker (n0 factors, Liars), and drummer Costs Salas (Brenmar), Brooklyn sound dance trio THEY ARE Powers mix eerie and ramshackle noises right into a post-no influx genre they have considered “ghost punk.” Occasionally moaning, other moments shrieking, Barie’s antics of moving and writhing in the audience at TAP’s concert events had already gained the band blog page accolades by enough time its initial EP, Taro Tarot, premiered.
