The distaff garage band Thee Headcoatees was among the innumerable projects spawned from the one-man cottage industry Billy Childish as a car for his inexhaustible catalog of songs. Originally dubbed the Delmonas, the lady group was made being a sister music group for Childish’s music group the Milkshakes, offering similar duty being a counterpoint to his following task Thee Headcoats. 1991’s Girlsville was the initial Thee Headcoatees LP, implemented a year afterwards by Have Like Can Travel.
