Formed away of Norway’s famed black colored steel scene, Theatre of Tragedy combine components of goth and steel with an extra contact of drama thanks partly towards the dual vocals of Raymond I. Rohonyi and Liv Kristine Espenaes. Using the accompaniment of Frank Claussen (guitars), Tommy Olsson (guitars/coding), Eirik T. Saltroe (bass), Hein Frode Hansen (drums) and Lorentz Aspen (synthesizer), Theater of Tragedy orchestrates a different efficiency piece with each tune, while the performers bounce dialogues from each other as well as sometimes portray different personas. Using their 1995 self-titled debut on Massacre, Theater of Tragedy earned over Century Mass media Records, who started licensing their albums for U.S. distribution. Velvet Darkness They Dread made an appearance in 1996, as well as the even more electronic-flavored follow-up Aegis premiered in 1998; both albums helped significantly broaden the group’s pursuing among both goth and steel viewers. Before Musique was released in 2000, the music group parted methods with both Olsson and Saltroe.
