The Zolas

Canada’s the Zolas certainly are a melodic, ’80s post-punk and ’90s-design alt-rock-influenced outfit devoted to vocalist/guitarist Zachary Grey. Shaped in Vancouver in ’09 2009, the Zolas started as a cooperation between Grey and previous Lotus Kid bandmate keyboardist Tom Dobrzanski. Collectively, they debuted with 2009’s Tic Toc Tic, which presented creation from Howard Redekopp (the brand new Pornographers, Fancey, Tegan and Sara). 3 years later on they delivered Old Mars, offering the monitor “Knot in my own Center.” They fleshed out the band’s lineup around 2015, adding bassist Dwight Abel and drummer Cody Hiles. A yr later on they returned using their third studio recording, Swooner.
