The Young Executives

The energy pop trio from the Young Executives stuck out amidst their indigenous of Lincoln, NE. Because they produced their debut in 1988, the neighborhood club picture either hosted right cover rings or punk works. So, the initial four-piece of Eric Medley (acoustic guitar/vocals), Mike Ropp (vocals/bass), David Marks (drums/vocals), and Greg Bashford (acoustic guitar/vocals) shifted to the faculty scene because they performed at several fraternity homes. But by enough time their 1st recording, entitled Compositions Through the Shelving Business, debuted in 1991, the departed Bashford slimmed the lineup right down to a three-piece. The Hüsker Dü-influenced pop continuing for another 3 years as Ismist Information released the 1994 follow-up of Cottonwood. But soon after their second record arrived, the Young Professionals disbanded upon Mike Ropp’s proceed to graduate university that same calendar year.
