The Yips

The Columbus, OH-based indie duo the Yips were formed in 1995 by singer/guitarist Gilmore Tamny — an alumna of Mike Rep as well as the Quotas, along with the erstwhile publisher from the fanzine Wiglet — and drummer Jon Davidson. After putting your signature on towards the Siltbreeze label, the Yips quickly released their first solitary, “1000% Fox; ” their debut LP, Bonfire inside a Dixie Glass, adopted in 1996. Blue Flannel Bathrobe made an appearance the next 12 months.
