The X-ecutioners

New York-based turntable group the X-ecutioners were, alongside San Francisco’s Invisibl Skratch Piklz, one of the primary all-DJ outfits to signal a recording contract, and the first ever to to push out a full-length record concentrating on the art of turntable tricknology. Previously referred to as the X-Men (they transformed their name, for copyright factors, when they agreed upon using the Asphodel label in 1997), the four-person group includes Mista Sinista, Rob Swift, Total Eclipse, and Roc Raida; a world-renowned staff whose past credits consist of national and worldwide titles for technique and fight DJing, in addition to live and studio room work with performers such as Arranged Konfusion, Large Teacher, the Beatnuts, and Artifacts.
