The Wontons

After parting ways using the 1-4-5s, guitarist/ vocalist Sifu Dean met up with Junior Varsity drummer Sifu Matt and bassist Sifu Randy to create The Wontons in 1998. Using their self-described appear of “all-you-can-eat rock and roll ‘n’ move,” their added romp of 50s affected garage area and 77′ snot-punk debuted on the first sole “Let’s Wok.” Released in 1999 on Germany’s Screaming Apple Information, The Wontons continuing their gimmick of sloppy 60’s rock and roll and kung-fu outfits using the EP Extra Spicy that same 12 months.
